Genetic Counselling

Our Genetic Service talks to people about medical problems that may be caused by genes.

About this service

The ACT Genetic Service provides specialist prenatal, childhood and adult genetic counselling for people with a personal or family history of a genetic condition or suspected genetic condition.

Genetic counsellors can talk to you about the chance that you, your family members or future children will be affected by a genetic disorder. We can also provide you with information about your genetic condition and how it may affect your life.
