Application Procedure for 2024-2025 Cycle

No invitation is needed for the completion of either application.

Applications

The CASPA and USC PA Supplemental Application for the 2024-2025 application cycle will be available on April 25, 2024.

Complete and submit the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) application no later than November 1. Please note that CASPA closes the application portal at 11:59PM (EST), or 8:59PM (PST), and all applications received after that time will not be considered. Information about CASPA can be obtained by visiting the CASPA website. Note: Although the CASPA application deadline is November 1, the USC PA program highly recommends submitting the completed application package by August 1. It can take CASPA 4 to 5 weeks to verify an application as the deadline date approaches.

You will need a PDF Editor, such as Adobe Acrobat, to complete the USC PA Supplemental Application. Please edit this document exclusively using a PDF editor to prevent the loss of your responses. Download the USC PA Supplemental Application here.

To complete the USC PA Supplemental Application process, follow the steps below:
  1. Submit the USC PA Supplemental Application in the “Required Documents” section of your CASPA application.
  2. Pay the non-refundable processing fee. The fee must be submitted via our online payment system. We no longer accept the fee in the form of a cashier’s check or money order. Please select the “Physician Assistant Program” and “Masters in Physician Assistant Studies Supplemental Application Fee” options on the website. Please save a copy of your receipt.

The Program will waive the supplemental application fee for applicants who received a CASPA waiver. Applicants must submit proof of their CASPA fee waiver for consideration to uscpa@usc.edu.

Only candidates who have submitted the complete application package consisting of the (1) verified CASPA Application, (2) USC PA Supplemental Application, and (3) USC Supplemental Fee, will be considered for interviews.

Note: The Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at USC does not use the USC Online Graduate School Application during the application process.

All documents and/or materials submitted to the PA program for application purposes are the sole property of the USC PA Program and will not be released, copied, or returned. **Please do not send official transcripts until you have been accepted into the program. Our team will contact you if additional documents are needed. Important: Applicants who are reapplying must submit new materials for their CASPA and USC PA Supplemental Application each application cycle.
